Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensuring sales, Units Per Transaction, Dollars Per Transaction, Swarovski Crystal Society Memberships, and other sales goals are achieved.
- Greets the customer entering the store providing them with a luxury experience.
- Able to share due credit with coworkers; display enthusiasm and promote a friendly group working environment; work closely with others as necessary; support group decisions and solicit opinions from coworkers; display team spirit.
- Participates and completes "Selling & Service Excellence Training", and demonstrates the outlined behaviors.
- Maintains highest level of customer service by demonstrating products to customers, assisting customers in trying on items, explaining benefits, features, price, quality, value and other information, answering customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
- Processes customer orders by retrieving product from stock, ensuring each piece is pulled from packaging and carefully inspected. Items are processed through register, gift wrapped, if appropriate, and packaged.
- Creates a special consumer shopping experience by developing information "customer profile" on retail customers to enhance sales. Follows through on customer's requests for specific items and notifies customer of new products that fit the customer profile.
- Maintains up-to-date product and company knowledge by reading Swarovski periodicals and announcements.
- Attends product training sessions and applies learning to job.
- Ensures effective store presentation by stocking and cleaning shelves, counters, or other merchandise displays.
- Sets up advertising displays and arranges merchandise on counters or tables to promote sales according to plan-o-gram.
- Follows store opening and closing procedures, to include cash reconciliation procedures. Researches and monitors competitors activities and communicates trends to supervisors.
- Communicates Loss Prevention issues to Store Manager.
- Participates in special events and promotions in order to enhance sales.
- Participate in Inventory and Inventory control programs
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of one year retail sales experience preferably in specialty branded stores.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Must be able to work with a minimum amount of supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as Store Operations Manuals and Training Manuals.
