Philadelphia Marketplace invites you to sit back, relax and unwind

PHILADELPHIA — Oct. 8, 2019  Travelers at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) don’t have to wait until they’ve reached their destination to indulge in a little pampering and relaxation. Be Relax, a chain of full-service airport spas, has opened a location in Concourse C.

Be Relax was born from the following simple idea: to make traveling more pleasant by creating an intentionally relaxing and beautiful airport lounge where you can relax before taking off. Be Relax offers well-being and beauty services such as massages (back, foot, chair and table), manicures, pedicures and facial care in airports all over the world. Be Relax also carries travel and massage accessories and spa-related beauty products.

“A spa at the airport is an unexpected perk allowing passengers to pamper themselves while waiting for their flight,” said Mel Hannah, Vice President and General Manager of MarketPlace PHL. “It’s the perfect opportunity to multitask and get a massage, a manicure or one of the many other services available while waiting for takeoff or during a layover.”

Be Relax opened on Sept. 19 and is located at the top of Concourse C, right next to Bud & Marilyn’s. The store offers travelers professional spa services in the airport setting and is the newest addition to airport retail developer MarketPlace PHL’s award-winning portfolio

MarketPlace PHLLLC, is the private partner with the City of Philadelphia in the management of the food and retail programs throughout Philadelphia International Airport.
