PHILADELPHIA — Jan. 18, 2012 — In this case, too many cooks in the kitchen is a good thing. Celebrity chef Michael Schulson, owner of Sampan restaurant, has teamed up with OTG Management and the Philadelphia MarketPlace Food and Shops to reimagine the Sky Asian Bistro at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

Sky Asian, operated by OTG Management, serves authentic Asian cuisine with an American twist. The restaurant’s new design features custom chandeliers, cherry blossom designs, and an open kitchen format. Sky Asian’s new menu features culinary delicacies found throughout Asia as well as items from Schulson’s restaurant. Passengers can enjoy everything from fresh sushi to Cantonese cuisine.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate Sky Asian’s remodeled home in Concourse C took place today. Among the officials in attendance were Schulson, Clarence LeJeune, president of MarketPlace Philadelphia Management, Michael Coury, Head Concept chef for OTG Management, and Jim Tyrrell, Deputy Director of Aviation. Guests enjoyed sampling some of the restaurant’s newest menu items.
