Earl of Sandwich and Bose Named PHL’s Restaurant and Retailer of the Fourth Quarter 2010-2011

PHILADELPHIA—August 5, 2011—The Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) announced Earl of Sandwich®, located in Terminal D, and Bose®, located in the B/C Connector, as its Restaurant and Retailer of the Quarter for Q4 2010-2011.

The Philadelphia Marketplace’s Cutting EDGE! Program (Excellence Drives Great Experiences) is designed to motivate and reward merchants. Each merchant can earn EDGE! points for exceeding expectations through great customer service and participation in marketing programs. A recent addition to PHL’s restaurant mix, Earl of Sandwich, serves travelers freshly made sandwiches and salads with only the freshest ingredients, using the same recipes passed down for more than 250 years.

As a nationally recognized brand, Bose offers a variety of merchandise featuring the highest-accuracy music technology. The Bose reputation rests on the steadfast pursuit of researching, designing and building all of its own products to ensure quality sound.

“The staff, at both Earl of Sandwich and Bose, go above and beyond expectations on a daily basis to ensure that every guest has a great experience when traveling at PHL,” said Anna DiGregorio, Director of Marketing for the Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. “We’re proud to recognize the hard work of everyone at these locations.”
