Former PA Governor Ed Rendell Lands at PHL for Book Signing

PHILADELPHIA — Nov. 19, 2012 — On the busiest travel day of the year, Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell will be at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to sign copies of his book, “A Nation of Wusses: How America’s Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great.”

Rendell will sign at the Heritage Booksellers location in the B/C Connector from 1—3 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21. The store will have copies of the book available for purchase by travelers.

With chapters like “The Wussification of America” and “The Top Ten Reasons Why Most American Politicians are Wusses,” Rendell’s book explains why America’s leaders rarely call for sacrifice for the greater good—to avoid making any sacrifices themselves. Released in June 2012, “A Nation of Wusses” also revisits the high points of Rendell’s career and defines the current political landscape.

“To kick off the holiday travel season, we’re excited to host Governor Rendell at PHL,” said Clarence LeJeune, President of Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. “We strive to offer our passengers a variety of activities and special events to make their time at the airport fun and enjoyable.”
