PHILADELPHIA — November 15, 2011— Philadelphia International Airport is bringing another fresh option to its Food & Shops offerings with the addition of Green Leaf’s in Concourse D. Under the tagline “beyond great salads,” Green Leaf’s offers made-to-order salads, delicious wraps, grilled Panini sandwiches, sweet smoothies and hearty homemade soups.

“We’re excited to add this healthy and delicious option to the Food & Shops at Philadelphia Airport,” said Clarence LeJeune, President of the Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops. “We’re always striving to expand our offerings for travelers and provide more of what they’re looking for at the airport. Green Leaf’s is just one of our many great options for dining here.”

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony to establish Green Leaf’s new home in Concourse D was held this morning. Guests enjoyed a first-taste sampling of Green Leaf’s signature smoothies, and the new eatery offered a 20 percent discount to all travelers until 11 a.m.

Founded in 1976, Green Leaf’s offers guests healthy, top-quality meals, providing a great mix of nutritious options including Thai chicken wraps, pesto caprese Paninis and Mediterranean Greek salads. Additionally, the “Pick & Mix” salad bar offers dozens of fresh ingredients and countless possibilities to make sure airport travelers get exactly what they want when dining.

Green Leaf’s is a part of Villa Enterprise Management, which also oversees brands such as Banana’s Smoothies & Frozen Yogurt, Villa Pizza and South Philly Steak and Fries. For more information or details, please visit
