Retailers and Restaurateurs Invited to Leasing Outreach Forum at Philadelphia International Airport

Philadelphia — July 2, 2012 — MarketPlace Philadelphia Management and MarketPlace Development, in conjunction with the City of Philadelphia’s Division of Aviation, will host a leasing outreach forum on Thursday, July 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the Airport Marriott, 1 Arrivals Road, Philadelphia. Local, regional and national retailers, as well as quick service food operators and restaurateurs, are invited to learn about the leasing opportunities available in the concessions program at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).

The purpose of the event is to discuss the retail and food/beverage program at PHL and to inform qualified food, beverage and retail operators of locations that will become available throughout all terminals. In addition, MarketPlace Philadelphia Management aims to facilitate communication and encourage business relationships and new jobs in Philadelphia.

The airport environment presents an exciting opportunity for merchants to benefit from captive passenger traffic and a strong demand for quality dining and retail. PHL gives merchants the potential to reach 30.7 million passengers each year, in addition to more than 20,000 employees who work at PHL on a daily basis.

“The business opportunities for both Philadelphia-area and national merchants at PHL are outstanding,” said Clarence LeJeune, President of MarketPlace Philadelphia Management. “With the addition of new locations throughout the airport, there’s even more potential for businesses to grow.”

To attend the forum, please call Mignon Buckholtz at 215-937-1200 or register online.
