Created by Chef Marcie Turney and business partner Valerie Safran, Bud & Marilyn’s is a celebration of American classics and focuses on simple well-prepared comfort foods. With 20 years in the restaurant business, Chef Turney decided to open a restaurant that touched home for her, an ode of sorts to her grandparent’s popular, but now-closed, restaurant that she grew up in back in Ripon, WI. She named it “Bud & Marilyn’s” after them. Bringing this concept to PHL provides the full‐service restaurant that travelers need offering chef-prepared classics at an affordable cost.
